Last week, I told you I’d have this post up “in a few days”, but as things go, here it is almost a week later and I’m just getting it together now.I know this is one we’ll all find handy though.

In a funny way, it’s great to know that there’s so much imperfection in this world and that we can all just laugh about it a little together.I was originally going to paint this old laminate cabinet white, get some new hardware and call it done.
Then I asked Chris if he would mind maybe, possibly, cutting me a piece of barnwood to go in the back of the shelf, just to make it extra pretty.He suggested he just build me a whole new one out of barnwood.
It didn’t hurt that I asked for help on a weekend night when Kennedy was away on a sleepover.If she’s sleeping at a friend’s house, Chris will do just about any DIY project for me for some reason.
